niftyLib represents a collection of all the gimmicks I found usefull within various projects and which are not too ambarssing in style and consistency to be made publicly available. Lots of stuff is still hangig out on my harddisk waiting to be cleaned up.
So the most usefull part probably is represented by the niftyLib::IO::device_streambuf class.
See Using the niftyLib::IO::device_streambuf for a tutorial on this.
Installation should be straigtforward:
./autogen.sh && ./configure && make && make install
